Bassett Wood Farm is approximately 7 minutes from Ashbourne Town Centre:

Depart Ashbourne on the A515 [ Buxton Road ] for approximately 5.1 km
At the crossroads, turn right onto Tissington Park (just past the Bluebell pub on the A515).
Continue through the park, over the cattle grid and straight through the village. You will pass the village pond and Tissington Trail Centre on your right.
Turn RIGHT onto our private drive, (our sign will be evident) and continue for 0.1 km. Our farm is at the end of the road, past the sign for the Tissington Trekking Centre.


 
 

Bassett Wood Farm is approximately 23 minutes from Buxton Town Centre:

Depart Buxton on A53 [ Station Road ] for 0.1 km.
At the roundabout, take the FIRST exit onto the A515 and continue for 26.9 km.
At the crossroads, turn left onto Tissington Park (just before the Bluebell pub on the A515).
Continue through the park, over the cattle grid and straight through the village. You will pass the village pond and Tissington Trail Centre on your right.
Turn RIGHT onto our private drive, (our sign will be evident) and continue for 0.1 km. Our farm is at the end of the road, past the sign for the Tissington Trekking Centre.

*We are encouraging all our visitors to use the Tissington Recycling Site located on the Tissington Trail.

Access to Bassett Wood Farm

Via a ¾ mile farm lane to large flat private area.
Designated disabled parking is near to the garden gate, which is 80cm wide, no steps.

The footpath is 85cm wide leading to a wider footpath of 150cm, to toilet and shower.  Doorway 90cm, onto 88cm doorway leading into disabled toilet and wet floor shower.  180cm x 180cm in room of 220cm x 220cm.

Tea Room
The house door width is 90cm (no steps) turning left into the tea room through doorway of 80cm.

Farm Access
Farm access is all on the flat. 
The calves are located on the level, please note - sometimes muddy.

The milking parlour can be accessed by the rear of the parlour.  A small step into cow loading area.

The Caravan Site
The caravan site has all level access, but could be a little bumpy in the wet weather.

The Play Area
The play area has wide access to swings and climbing frame.
